Fast Forward to 27 weeks

Well, it looks like I'm a bad Mom already. The blog has suffered a few delays in my updating and now I have a a million things to talk about.  First and foremost, we're having a BOY!  I think many of you saw this coming and I have to laugh because it does seem to suit me.

We have picked a name... it's going to be Oscar Godfrey Jordan Lindstrom.  A little explanation is in order here. Oscar is after Jordan's great, great Grandfather, who represents the Swedish side of his family. Godfrey is after my grandfather who was filled with great spirit, laughter and life and passed away while I was young.  This is my Dad's father. Jordan is after you know who.  Jordan's family tradition has it that all the boys have their father's name as their middle name, and we all know what Lindstrom is about :)


Oscar is doing great.  He is healthy and happy and right on track.  He had his first trip to Austin,Texas to visit his Aunite Randi.  She spoiled him already with a pair of genuine Texas boots (cutest things in the whole darn world).  We went to a U of Texas football game (100 degrees at a 7pm kickoff), visited the capitol, hung out at the beach, danced at the oldest dance hall in Texas, and saw where Randi works in the ER.  Very proud of her!

This last weekend, Jordan and I went up to Bellingham for Michael and Laurie's baptism at Whatcom Falls.  It was a gorgeous day and we enjoyed hiking, BBQ, and some cliff jumping.
